It’s very important to maintain skin function after the treatment, for the most vital real long-term results. ‘Skin is not sensitive; it is programmed to regenerate.’ If there is any visible redness and inflammation it means that it’s reactive. Any imbalance in function may be a sign of skin reacting to trans-epidermal water loss. To avoid dissatisfaction of not achieving any results you should follow the next steps:

1. Face wash

This is one of the most important steps in your daily Skin Care Routine. It can prevent pores from clogging by slowing down the shedding of the cells inside hair follicles, which for example helps to prevent impurities.

2. Toner

Main function of a toner is to bring back the optimal pH of the skin. It’s necessary to keep the natural pH of the skin to protect ‘baby cells’ to help them grow healthy. Unfortunately, most of the time patients skip this step.

3. Day cream (sunscreen SPF)

It can be used on all skin conditions. Proper protection from sun damage is the first line of defense in maintaining a youthful appearance. For the best results you should use it underneath your make up.

4. Mist

It’s important to moisturize your skin during a day. It’s not easy when we are at work/wearing a make-up. Using a mist can help us keep the moisture, or when we are wearing a make-up it will freshen it up.

5. Serum (night only)

This is the part where we can help rebuild the skin. Once the dead cells barrier is removed, you should create an environment, which can help living cells stay alive longer. Using serum will give you the best results (only if you choose the right one). During the night our skin is regenerating, so it’s the best time to apply it.

6. Night cream

You should apply it on top of the serum. Night creams should be water based. Our skin needs water for all chemical procedures, as well as protection from trans-epidermal water loss (TEWL).
